Learning Together

We offer a variety of programs on sustainable living including organic gardening, forest gardens, aquaponics, culinary arts, natural building, eco-art and community resilience.

Using our community gardens as a teaching platform, we offer ways to bring about the change we wish to see in the world. We serve all age groups, and people from all backgrounds, offering a place of hospitality

Our Learning Circle

We believe that the most effective way to make a difference in the world is by creating healthy relationships: Relationship with a place. Relationship with a friend. Relationship with oneself. We find that we grow the most when we are open to learn from everyone and everything, by creating a Learning-Circle: a space where everyone are both students and teachers.

We put great emphasis on personal growth and community resiliency. We believe that, of all the skills necessary in today's world, these are perhaps the most important.

Do come along and learn with us!

Permaculture Design Course

Each year we work in partnership with Transitions Leicester to run:

1. Introduction to Permaculture

2. Permaculture Design Course

Permaculture teaches the basics of understanding nature and thinking green.

It is a practical and common sense approach to designing and creating anything, based upon the patterns found in nature. It is often applied to food production and land use, but is equally valuable when applied to buildings, organisations and much more.

The course takes you through both land and community models and teaches you how to design a system for your own situation.

Before you can do the full course you have to attend the Introduction to Permaculture - you can find out more about this here.
